About The Position
The Engineering Intern will support operations teams at ethanol production facilities by assisting with process improvement initiatives, equipment performance analysis, and capital projects. This internship provides hands-on exposure to industrial operations within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic engineering software preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist engineers with data collection, analysis, and documentation related to plant processes and equipment performance
- Support continuous improvement, reliability, and optimization projects
- Participate in safety, environmental, and maintenance-related initiatives
- Prepare reports, drawings, or calculations under the guidance of engineering staff
- Observe and comply with all plant safety and operational procedures
