Requirements

  • Enrolled in a relevant engineering degree program (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, industrial, chemical, etc.) at an accredited university or college.
  • Strong academic record with a demonstrated interest in engineering.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Project Support: Assist engineering teams in executing various projects by conducting research, performing analysis, and contributing to design and development activities.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze data to support engineering decisions and optimize processes. Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings.
  • Design and Drafting: Create and revise engineering drawings, tooling, schematics, and plans using relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Prototyping: Participate in the development of prototypes and test models. Help assemble and test prototypes under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and project progress reports.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Problem Solving: Assist in identifying and troubleshooting technical issues and challenges, proposing solutions, and implementing improvements.
  • Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Actively improve safety in the workplace by participating in Gemba to identify and remove hazards.
  • Learning and Development: Actively seek opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills by participating in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs.
