About The Position

The Engineering Intern will be responsible for supporting daily operations within their assigned department. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment, allowing interns to develop industry knowledge, technical skills, and professional growth. Interns will be placed in a specific department based on their interests, skills, and business needs, where they will assist with projects, process improvements, and day-to-day operations for a period of 3 to 6 months.

  • Recently graduated or currently enrolled in good academic standing with a college or University pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, HR, Supply Chain, Food Science, Finance, Safety, or a related field.
  • GPA of 3.0 or greater within declared major.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • You will be expected to work all hours requested by your supervisor, and complete all hours required by your university to receive credit (if applicable).

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas.
  • Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF).
  • Support daily production activities, assist in process improvements, and learn about high-speed manufacturing efficiency.
  • Assist with equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and asset reliability projects.
  • Support quality control testing, data collection, and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Assist with process optimization, equipment design modifications, and efficiency improvements. Support capital projects, data analysis, and troubleshooting to enhance manufacturing performance and reliability.
  • Learning and developing people skills with an understanding of business acumen within a manufacturing facility.
  • Manage a single assigned “project” that supports continuous improvement efforts.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain documentation, reports, and logs relevant to the internship function.
  • Shadow experienced professionals and gain exposure to best practices in beverage manufacturing.
