About The Position

This position will perform at a junior engineer level and be capable of supporting various on-going projects. The employee has the capacity to learn company processes and procedures and become familiar with industry standards. The person will perform in a professional capacity to learn the business and product lines, whether on the hardware or software side. All the work will be assigned by the Engineer Supervisor/Lead person. This role is required to be on-site at the Simi Valley, CA location.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accredited, full-time degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be a good problem solver, self-starter, and team player.
• Must be capable of working independently as needed.
• Strong computer skills and technical writing capabilities to write test procedures or other documentation as required.
• Must be familiar with common software applications – Microsoft word, excel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Support various on-going projects.

• Perform duties as assigned by the Engineer Supervisor/Lead person.
