Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university; majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science
Nice To Haves
- Project Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ProE Die Design, Six Sigma
- Knowledge of the basics of Heat Treating and Mechanical Testing
- Analytical Capability
Responsibilities
- Reduction of steel usage, stock size, lead time and scrap
- Manufacturing technological improvements
- Strategy formulation and implementations of Robotics
- Plant velocity improvements
- Reduction of paper usage [digitization]
- Estimating time improvements
- Process elimination/improvements
- Research and Development of materials’ and processes
- Research and recommendations of industry best practices
- Product development
- Reduction of energy consumption
- Strategy formulation and implementation for plant expansion project
