The Manufacturing Engineer Intern supports the Company Mission and Values by providing industrial and manufacturing support through the application of methods analysis and work measurement time studies, under moderate supervision.

Requirements

• Junior or senior working towards a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Management from an accredited engineering school.
• Basic knowledge of Lean principles is required.
• Strong initiative, interpersonal and team skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under deadline pressure.
• Solid analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical specifications, professional journals, and blueprints.
• Ability to write routine reports and documentations.
• Ability to speak effectively within the organization.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint software.
• Professional e-mail, written and oral communication is required.
