About The Position

Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking an Engineering Intern for the Spring 2027 semester in West Chester, Ohio. This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, industry-leading environment. The intern will collaborate with the design team, play a consultative role, and support the field marketing team in building relationships with civil engineering clients, contributing to commercial objectives. This is an ideal opportunity for students pursuing an engineering degree to apply their knowledge to civil and/or environmental engineering projects, supporting engineers, contractors, and developers.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program, Environmental or Civil preferred.
• Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, database management software, and basic CAD.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department design engineers to present project-specific solutions to clients.
• Provide quality designs and advice to secure and integrate our products on site plans.
• Assist in the creation of engineering designs and plans under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and timely project completion.
• Provide support for submittals, production, and product delivery.
• May conduct site visits to assess project progress and quality.
• Maintain engineering standards and procedures.
