About The Position

This assignment provides a diverse experience in the functions and needs of a rubber manufacturing group. The selected individual will be involved in the support of the Mechanical and Process Engineering Team.

Requirements

• Minimum GPA 3.0
• 15 credit hours completed
• Minimum 1.5 years of remaining undergraduate studies
• Minimum 1.0 years of CAD experience through school or employment (Solidworks, Inventor, Creo, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years remaining until completion of a Bachelor's degree
• Fundamental mechanical design experience
• Mechanical Engineering major is preferred but will consider any Engineering degree

Responsibilities

• Update and create CAD models for manufacturing machinery and tooling
• Support machine design and modification projects
• Maintain and organize engineering drawings and documentation
• Work on data gathering to help assist in process improvement projects
• Edit and compile plant-wide communications
