About The Position

Axalta is seeking driven and innovative college students for its Fast Track Early Talent Program, an immersive 10-week internship designed to accelerate professional growth. This program includes interactions with senior leaders, peer networking, and workshops on various professional skills. Interns will conclude their experience with a capstone project presentation. This is a talent pool, and candidates will be matched to appropriate openings as they are released throughout the season.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in a related engineering field (Mechanical, Industrials, Materials, etc).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• All applicants must have the necessary work authorization to be employed in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future (including F1 OPT and H1-B statuses).

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship or project experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, analysis, and testing of engineering projects.
• Conduct research and gather data to support project development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges.
• Participate in team meetings, providing input and ideas.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations on project progress.
• Support the maintenance and organization of engineering documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the engineering teams.
