Position Overview The Engineering Group Manager – Paint Engineering leads a team of engineers responsible for the end-to-end execution of manufacturing engineering projects. This includes process development, equipment design, and successful launch at assembly sites. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams—strategic suppliers, operations, purchasing, and supply chain—to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery. This position plays a key role in shaping the future of GM’s paint manufacturing processes and demands a high level of independent decision-making and leadership during project installation and startup phases.
