About The Position

There is an outstanding opportunity to join the Engineering Data Team at Delta Faucet Company. As part of the Engineering Data Team, you will craft and maintain technical documents and execute Bill of Material (BOM) and master data transactions supporting Delta Faucet Company products. This individual is adaptable, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative environment. The Data & Document Specialist is responsible for the tactical oversight, creation and maintenance of our document control system including the timely release of Standard Work, Quality, and Controlled Documents. The Data & Document Specialist will manage Engineering data creation and maintenance. You must be data driven, motivated to drive improvement, and able to analyze and resolve data defects quickly and effectively to meet customer commitments. The Data & Document Specialist reports to the Engineering Data & Technical Documents Manager.

Requirements

  • Candidate should have at a minimum a two-year Engineering or technical degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with Teamcenter and SAP
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Smartsheet, and graphic software including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator

Responsibilities

  • Edit and publish clear and accurate customer-facing technical documents
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Customer Solution teams to define document needs, timelines, and content gaps
  • Ensure that documentation complies with regulatory, legal, and corporate standards and requirements
  • Release and maintain all Controlled documents and Standard work; manage related distribution lists and revision notifications.
  • Maintain Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) records including deviations, test reports, and project numbers
  • Process purchase orders (POs) and check requests as required
  • Execute Engineering Data workflows and requests, including BOM updates, label creation, and master data changes
  • Maintain common Engineering practices including updating and maintaining work instructions
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve data or documentation issues
  • Uphold high standards of integrity, accuracy, and ethical conduct.
  • Success is measured with current KPIs, NPD timelines, and customer commitments
