Responsible for performing general and specific administrative support tasks involved in an engineering environment. Responsibilities may include maintaining records, specifications, drawings and other related documentation. Responsible for material management within the US Central Library inventory system (ACOIN) and material inventory within storage locations on site. Shipping and receiving of materials for team members and others. Assisting with the preparation of ECNs (Engineering Change Notices), creation of BOMs, and assisting internal and external customers in various administrative tasks directly related to the work unit’s primary function. These tasks may include, but not be limited to, assisting with researching information, assisting with analysis, compiling data for reports, coordinating work processes following work unit manager’s directions and other established administrative procedures. Coordinates work within the work unit and with other work units/departments, both internal and possibly external to the company. May assist in work for one or more professional employees other than the direct supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • 6 months to 1 year (or equivalent) of administrative experience.
  • Basic understanding of administrative processes and support functions.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware, server components, parts, and related technology.
  • Experience using digital productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot or similar AI applications.
  • Ability to learn and navigate internal systems, databases, and technology platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and collaborate.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to safely lift and move up to 35lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to engineering, computer technology, or servers is a plus.

Responsibilities
