About The Position
Smithers-Oasis is seeking a junior in college currently pursuing a chemical engineering degree to work with our Corporate Technology team in the role of Engineering Co-Op from January through August of 2027. This internship offers exposure to engineering concepts and the ability to see how they apply in a manufacturing environment within a diverse business including Floral foam, Grower foam, Temperature Control Packaging, and sustainability efforts. Requirements
- Junior level college student
- Currently pursuing a degree in chemical engineering
Responsibilities
- Assist with foam sampling and testing
- Data entry of test results
- Assist with making test foams
- Collaborate on ideas for foam modifications
