About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Co-Op candidate to join the team at Doncasters. The role is for individuals currently attending college or university who are seeking work experience in their field with an established company. The co-op will work with the engineering team to ensure customer standards are met while developing their own skill set to become proficient in their field of study. The company is a leading international manufacturer of specialist superalloys and high-precision alloy components for demanding conditions, with facilities worldwide. The specific facility, Doncasters Structural Castings of Oxford, Southern Tool, specializes in vacuum and air melt investment castings in Nickel and Cobalt based superalloys, serving aerospace, industrial gas turbine, and commercial markets.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing Process or Mechanical Engineering as a major.
• Strong understanding of Engineering and Manufacturing processes, controls, and the ability to apply this knowledge in an industry capacity.
• Ability to drive tasks and focus on goals (Attention to detail).
• Enjoy problem-solving.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
