About The Position

Greif is seeking an engineering co-op student for a term running August through December 2027. The co-op provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in real-world settings, gain industry experience, access professional development and learning materials, and explore academic and career interests. The student will assist with engineering assignments and ongoing projects, learn about departmental functions, contribute to performance goals and assigned projects, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Paper Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Have completed at least two semesters by the start of the co-op term and have coursework remaining.
• Be in good academic standing with your Engineering major and school.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be able to work 40 hours for the duration of the co-op, August through December 2027.

Nice To Haves

• Strong academic background; a GPA of 3.5 or above is preferred.
• Understanding of basic engineering principles and relevant functions.
• Relevant work experience or involvement with professional clubs or organizations.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Curiosity and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, time-management, analytical, and adaptability skills.
