Join our innovative team as an Engineering Designer Co-op, where you will have the chance to apply your design skills in real-world projects. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in the engineering design process, allowing you to contribute to exciting developments while enhancing your technical and creative abilities.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant engineering program (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, etc.).
- Proficiency in CAD software; familiarity with 3D modeling is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for design.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of engineering projects using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to create detailed design specifications.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for product improvements and new designs.
- Conduct research to support design decisions and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare and present design documentation, including drawings and reports.
- Support the prototyping process by assisting with model creation and testing.
