About The Position

The Engineering Co-op (College Student) position at CHI provides an opportunity over a 12-month period to evaluate engineering talent and capability, with the possibility of hiring the co-op as a full-time engineer after graduation if the employee performs well and an opening is available. The program is intended to provide meaningful engineering experience in various facets of manufacturing aerospace composite parts. The co-op supports project engineers and managers with data collection, analysis, manufacturing processes, and engineering documentation. The role includes hands-on learning of composite part production operations under the guidance of lead operators, VSLs, and manufacturing engineers. Employees may periodically perform duties outside their job description, and all CHI employees are expected to assist where needed to support production and customer commitments.
