Engineering Co-op Student (Fall 2026)

About The Position
The Roling Stock team is looking for a student available for 3-4 months this fall. This role is for students who are interested in being part of our railway project. You get the opportunity to learn from our engineers.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Civil or Mechanical Engineering Program
- Competent verbal and written communication skills.
- Observant, attention to details, conciensus, ethical, efficient.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Be available to support testing activities whenever they are scheduled (Days, Nights, Weekends, Statutory Holiday, potential shiftwork)
- Has effective team work skill
Responsibilities
- Witness testing of train by contractor anytime the test is scheduled in the 24/7 window.
- Assist engineers with daily tasks like: Preparing and updating engineering procedures, writing test reports and inspection reports, performing basic engineering calculations, maintaining technical records and documentation.
- Support field inspection, data collection
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project teams during testing
