About The Position

Support calibration and validation activities for advanced controls software, including Battery Management Systems (BMS), Thermal Management Systems (TMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Motor Controls, and related vehicle control functions. Assist calibration engineers in executing test plans, collecting data, and analyzing results from vehicle, bench, and simulation testing. Perform calibration parameter updates and maintain calibration datasets using appropriate calibration and measurement tools. Analyze test data to identify performance improvements, calibration opportunities, and control system issues. Prepare calibration reports, summaries, and engineering recommendations based on test results. Support validation activities in Model-in-the-Loop (MiL), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL), and vehicle environments. Assist in troubleshooting software, calibration, and system integration issues during development and testing. Maintain calibration databases, test records, and documentation to ensure traceability and configuration control. Collaborate with controls, systems, software, and testing teams to support successful program execution. Prepare internal and customer presentations to communicate testing progress, findings, and recommendations. Support development of automation tools for test execution, data processing, and report generation where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (or currently pursuing) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
  • Basic understanding of electric vehicle systems, batteries, thermal systems, and vehicle control architectures.
  • Knowledge of control systems fundamentals and calibration concepts.
  • Familiarity with data acquisition, data analysis, and engineering testing methodologies.
  • Exposure to calibration tools such as ETAS INCA, ATI Vision, CANape, CANalyzer, or similar software.
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and basic scripting using MATLAB or Python.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and interpret engineering test results.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Professional communication skills (oral and written).
  • Motivated team player capable of working in a fast-paced product development environment.
