Requirements

  • Technical diploma or certification in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in electrical measurement, testing, and diagnostics, particularly in high-voltage equipment or related fields.
  • Proficiency in interpreting test results and performing failure analyses.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve issues.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical safety practices and the ability to work safely.
  • Ability to work independently on the production floor and collaborate effectively with other departments.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong documentation skills to maintain test records and report findings.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to configuration management process by standardizing product BOMs, specifications, materials descriptions.
  • Contribute to material and supplier qualification process by creating and revising material specifications.
  • Contribute to non-conformance management process by analysing test results, construction of the product, performing electrical measurements and identified direct causes of failures/deviations.
  • Interpret test results to identify failed components and evaluate the direct causes of failures.
  • Record and communicate findings to the electrical designer and recommend solutions for material quality or process improvements.
  • Follow work instructions and suggest improvements to work practices and failure detection methods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to safety standards while working on the production floor.
