About The Position

The Lockheed Martin Space Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking an experienced Engineering Aide Sr Spec to be part of a team in Courtland, AL producing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity! The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production operations. The role will require strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Experience with manufacturing engineering or manufacturing engineering technology
Knowledge of manufacturing principles and production line setup, launch and/or development
Familiarity with MES (manufacturing execution system)
Knowledge of manufacturing bill of materials, creation, edit, and/or maintenance
Experience creating and revising manufacturing work instructions
General understanding of how parts are stocked, kitted and consumed on the shop floor
Must be a US Citizen for consideration due to security clearance requirements.

Nice To Haves

Experience with MDA or missile defense programs
Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Space or industry equivalent processes
Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Space or industry equivalent tools (ERP/SAP, EPDM, VECAMS, Apriso, MPM Link, Windchill, PMP Database, etc)
Basic tooling, fixture, and equipment design experience

Responsibilities

Create and manage Production Order routers within Apriso/MPM Link
Develop, edit, and maintain Manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure that all components and materials are accurately tracked and managed
Assist with special projects, including but not limited to: Part Kitting, Smart Torque Wrench implementation, MGSE Standard Operating Procedures, Shop Aid Tool development
