We’re an American manufacturer of advanced 48V centric DC-DC converters with industry-leading power and current density, enabling breakthrough power delivery performance. As an engineering-focused company, we provide a hands-on opportunity to further innovate and advance the topologies, control systems, components and packaging of our power modules and the power delivery networks that drive key advancements in AI, electric vehicles, and aerospace. The Product Development Engineering Aide contributes to the development of new products and systems by supporting engineers in the design, prototyping, system testing, characterization and documentation of new products and systems. The Product Development Engineering Aide also responsible for managing and maintaining the lab, equipment and component inventory as well as BOMs (Bill of Material) for PCBs.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or 5+ years experience as technician, technical aide, or engineering aide.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment used in the characterization and design of power supplies and systems (oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, EMI analyzers, loads, sources, etc.)
  • Proficiency soldering and reworking small surface mount components with good accuracy and cleanliness.
  • Ability to methodically approach tasks and projects, manage time, and document results and procedures with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • IPC J-STD-001 soldering certification a plus.
  • Troubleshooting skills with basic power systems a plus.
  • Familiarity with CAD and office tools (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc., especially Altium) a plus
  • Experience working with high voltage DC/DC or AC/DC power supplies and power systems is a plus
  • Experience designing or assembling thermal-mechanical systems including liquid cooling is a plus

Responsibilities
