About The Position
The Engineer will review product specifications for new and existing products and services. You will prepare support plan in accordance with customer and market requirements, and FAA/OEM standards.
Requirements
- 5 years’ engineering work in a manufacturing environment; aviation experience strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills (CAD software, Microsoft Office, Excel)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent in English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in self-directed or team environments
- Flexibility to work overtime and/or weekends when needed
Responsibilities
- Develop test methods on standard or customized equipment specifications
- Maintain and build test equipment for instrument service and repair
- Train team members on proper use of new and existing equipment to meet highest standards
- Determine root causes of failures and recommend changes
- Review product design for manufacturability or completeness
- Test and evaluate components and equipment to determine reliability
- Communicate and facilitate production schedule and process
- Apply new methods for operational improvement
