Requirements

Prior experience in hotel engineering, facilities maintenance, or a related trade
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks during PM shift hours
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and guest service orientation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods

Nice To Haves

Relevant trade certifications or vocational training a plus

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel property during PM shift hours
Respond promptly to guest room and common area maintenance requests, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues
Inspect and maintain mechanical systems, equipment, and building infrastructure
Troubleshoot and repair lighting, fixtures, appliances, and other hotel systems
Ensure compliance with safety codes, hotel standards, and Marriott brand guidelines
Document completed work orders and communicate outstanding issues to the next shift
Support the engineering team with special projects and renovations as needed
