About The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Engineer to join our team. The Building Engineer will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of a large commercial building. This position requires a thorough understanding of safety practices, building systems, and general maintenance procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical trade school certification preferred
- Must be able to be licensed by the Illinois Gaming Board
Responsibilities
- Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on all building systems and equipment, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, electrical, and fire life safety.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and assess the building for potential safety hazards
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor
- All other duties as assigned
