About The Position

Texas Western Hospitality is seeking an experienced, talented, and driven leader to fill the critical Engineer role at the TownePlace Suites in Plano TX. Our Engineers effectively and professionally communicate with co-workers and supervisor, follow company policies and procedures, and ensure all fire and safety inspections are completed, and any discrepancies are corrected. They administer the preventative maintenance program as required, properly completing work orders on time, and complete training regarding safety, security, department procedures, and service guidelines. Engineers provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress, and meet with vendors and suppliers to discuss the scope of, and products and materials used in, repair activities. They also obtain pricing and bids as directed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of engineering, manufacturing, or maintenance experience.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and quality procedures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
