As a Tool Install Engineer, you will play a key role in bringing complex manufacturing environments to life by supporting the development of tool installation design packages for some of the industry's most innovative clients. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field required
  • 2+ years experience in semiconductor

Nice To Haves

  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Previous experience or internship exposure within advanced technology, semiconductor, manufacturing, or industrial projects.
  • Experience working within consulting engineering, construction, or design environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively within a collaborative team setting.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement initiatives or Lean methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of engineering and design processes within multidisciplinary project environments.
  • Familiarity with Lean project delivery principles and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support to the Construction and/or Project Mangers to include receiving, logging, reviewing, tracking, expediting, and distribution of submittals, RFI’s, and other technical documentation.
  • Receives and technically reviews submittals returned from Architect or Engineer and notifies the Construction and/or Project Manager of potential cost and/or schedule impacts based on review comments. Supports Construction and/or Project Manager in resolving open issues related to submittals.
  • Develops a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the contract documents (plans, specifications, schedule, etc.).
  • Identifies and notifies Construction Manager and/or Project Manager of changes. Works with Construction Manager and/or Project Manager to mitigate potential changes, define the cost and schedule impacts of a change and negotiate change orders with both the Client and Subcontractors.
  • Provides field engineering input to weekly and monthly reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
