About The Position

This position is for an Electrical Test Engineer to support USS Nimitz (CVN-68) Inactivation. The role involves gathering, maintaining, formatting, compiling, and manipulating technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. The engineer will produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Responsibilities include performing detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas, preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in areas such as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency, and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. The role requires using a personal computer for analyses and documentation/report development. The engineer may also conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
0 years of relevant professional/exempt experience.
Electrical Engineering degree.
