About The Position

This role involves gathering, maintaining, formatting, compiling, and manipulating technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. The position will produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Responsibilities include performing detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas, preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in areas such as trajectory adequacy and model dimensional consistency, and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. The role requires using a personal computer for analyses and documentation/report development. Additionally, the position may involve conducting tests and recording data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant professional/exempt experience.
Master of Science Degree in Engineering and 0 years of relevant professional/exempt experience.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Responsibilities

Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas.
Conducts preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency.
Makes quantitative judgments concerning technical data.
Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports.
May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
