About The Position

We are looking for a Engineer Technician in Training to join our Operations team on our project in LaGrange, GA. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

• 6 mos. to 1 year of experience
• Able to read construction drawings
• Training in construction safety protocols (i.e. OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform, boom and scissor)
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Field Engineers in operating robotic total station instruments and auto level and other surveying instruments.
• Assisting with establishing building control, setting markers, lines, corners, elevations, grades, alignments, angles, positions, and distances.
• Maintain total station, field book, survey equipment and tools.
• Provide primary support to our field supervision and must demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, and use critical thinking to solve issues and l ead team to complete daily tasks at jobsite.
