Overall Summary: We’re looking for a hands-on Supplier Quality Engineer who thrives in building and maintaining capabilities in the supply chain. The role is responsible for driving supplier quality improvement through audits, part qualifications, and non‑conformance resolution. The candidate will lead problem‑solving initiatives with suppliers while partnering with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality to analyze performance data and identify focus areas for the purpose of finding the proper supply partner, developing their capabilities, delivering and maintaining the highest level of quality, to print, on-time, at-cost, and in-full. They will conduct process, product, and verification audits to ensure compliance with Eos expectations and the sustainability of corrective actions. The position also manages supplier quality data, KPIs, and system updates, supporting investigations into customer complaints. Additionally, the role promotes continuous improvement and helps maintain required quality certifications across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • Five (5+) or more years of experience in field operations, quality, performance, or reliability
  • Background in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to advocate product excellence and quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work cross-functionally.
  • Strong understanding of operational discipline, quality controls, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Customer focus and demonstrated ability to drive effective solutions with urgency.
  • Proficient in MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and influence all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in regulated, safety-sensitive, or high-reliability environments preferred.
  • Electrical and/or mechanical product knowledge is preferred.
  • Design control or new product development is preferred.
  • Quality engineering experience is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience leading APQP, PPAP, FAI, GD&T, Control Plan (Core Tools)

Responsibilities

  • Drive Supplier Quality Improvements, working directly with suppliers and internal Eos teams to execute Quality processes, such as: Supplier and Process Audits, Part Qualification, Non-Conforming Report
  • Lead the deployment of problem solving and improvement plans with suppliers.
  • Resolve quality issues through Mitigation, Containment, Root Cause, Corrective and Preventative Action
  • Perform audits with suppliers to ensure Corrective Action implementation and sustainability to maintain the highest level of quality
  • Lead process and product audits with suppliers to verify compliance on Eos expectations
  • Lead PPAP programs as dictated by procurement strategy or quality performance
  • Hold suppliers accountable through a proactive approach to assure Supplier KPIs compliance and reporting
  • Foster Continuous Improvement culture by leading projects associated with suppliers' Cost of Poor Quality
  • Act with an enterprise and collaboration mindset
