The Engineer, Solutions Architecture role is primarily focused on providing direct technical assistance to the Sales Team with pre-sales opportunities for new & existing clients and providing support for partners in our ecosystem. This individual will help identify, qualify, and close businesses in the region. They are business-oriented, network, security, cloud, product and application experts for IT Solutions’ suite of solutions. Solution Architects apply this product and domain expertise to support all technical pre-sales activities, including but not limited to evaluating client needs and applying solutions to resolve or improve outcomes, diagnosing client concerns, delivering presentations and demonstrations, responding to client technical issues and questions, contributing to RFI/RFP responses, and in general working with the sales team to identify and close targeted opportunities. The Engineer, Solutions Architecture is also involved in limited post-sales activities such as delivering Internal training, coordinating delivery and support within the Managed Services and Client Strategy group, and/or participating in Professional Services work. In addition, the Solutions Engineer is a key source of market research who identifies and documents future product, service and application requirements and roadmaps.
