About The Position
Join Southcoast Health, a not-for-profit, charitable, health system with multiple hospitals, clinics and facilities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Requirements
- Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience required.
- Strong security background in network/systems/physical security, authentication, authorization and usability.
- Deep Knowledge of network-based and system-level attacks and mitigation methods.
- Minimum 7 years of experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, End-Point Protection, Information Security Incident Management Systems and analyzing security for systems and applications (Penetration testing, web application security testing, vulnerability scanning, risk mitigation, etc.) required.
- SASE and ZTNA experience with products such as NetSkope, Zscaler, CATO, etc. required.
- CISSP required. CISSP requirement can be fulfilled by a combination of experience and other industry standard security certifications such as CCSP, SSCP, etc. subject to hiring manager review.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification required, or equivalent certification/experience required subject to manager review.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties in support of Security Engineering and Security Architecture including but not limited to: designing, developing and recommending integrated security system solutions to ensure proprietary/confidential data and systems protection; managing systems engineering tasks; and performing as overall technical lead for complex projects.
