About The Position

Williams International has exciting opportunities for Engineers (Rotational) to join our dynamic team to push the boundaries of excellence and innovation in the aerospace industry. Recent college graduates that enter Williams International’s Rotational Engineering Program can expect to spend one year's time in each of two to three different engineering disciplines developing a comprehensive understanding of the product. The rotation programs are coordinated with each individual engineer and typically include a combination of design, manufacturing, product development and analytical roles. At the end of the rotation, the engineer is placed into a regular engineering assignment that suits the skills/interest of the individual and the needs of the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical, Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, Materials Science, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or similar technical discipline with an interest in gas turbine engine design and development.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, preferred.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with excellent communication skills.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
  • Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years of summer intern or co-op experience in an engineering environment is desirable.
  • Previous exposure to NX CAD/CAM, Python and ANSYS FEA/CFD is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Spend one year in each of two to three different engineering disciplines.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product.
  • Participate in design, manufacturing, product development, and analytical roles.
  • Be placed into a regular engineering assignment at the end of the rotation.
