About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures, including OSHA regulations

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained
• Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a prompt and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including work orders and inventory of parts and supplies
