About The Position

This role supports capital project execution. The Engineer is accountable for the quality of the results and execution of capital projects using Mondelēz standards, and business and innovation processes in project management. The Engineer will help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders so that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided and develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow. The Engineer will also help ensure that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented, and support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.

Requirements

  • Engineering or operations experience
  • 2 - 5 years of capital project management
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and influencing key stakeholders
  • Technical expertise across engineering disciplines and high expertise in one or more domains
  • 2 - 5+ years project management experience on small to medium scale CAPEX projects
  • Experience leading and leveraging cross functional project teams to drive project outcomes
  • Demonstrated success in the project management cycle
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to evolving project requirements and situational changes

  • Electrical and controls experience
  • Strong CapEx Project Management Experience
  • B.S - Engineering
  • P.Eng license (or working towards)
  • Food Manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of local regulations, codes and standards as applicable
  • Certifications relevant to project management

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, developing and execution of capital projects.
  • Provide technical development and feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in the supply chain.
  • Execute capital-expense projects to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest level of quality, safety and environmental requirements.
  • Ensure Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and Mondelēz standards in execution are followed.
  • Define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders.
  • Develop accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
  • Develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow.
  • Ensure applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented.
  • Support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.
