This Engineering role supports nuclear plant operations and can be filled at the Entry, Mid-level, or Senior Engineer level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear)
  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
  • For Mid-level E02 Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
  • For Senior E03 Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of ASME OM Code requirements
  • Previous experience as a Snubber, Programs, or Systems Engineer
  • Outage support experience at a nuclear generating station

Responsibilities

  • Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision.
  • Support engineering work functions.
  • All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)
  • Manage and execute the snubber program to ensure compliance with ASME OM Code, NRC requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Maintain program governance, prepare reports, and represent the program in inspections and audits.
  • Develop and coordinate execution of snubber work scope, including outage support, reviewing test results, identifying issues, and recommending solutions.
  • Participate in industry groups and forums (e.g., ASME, SNUG) and incorporate lessons learned into program improvements.
