Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear)
Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
For Mid-level E02 Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
For Senior E03 Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of ASME OM Code requirements
Previous experience as a Snubber, Programs, or Systems Engineer
Outage support experience at a nuclear generating station

Responsibilities

Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.
Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision.
Support engineering work functions.
All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)
Manage and execute the snubber program to ensure compliance with ASME OM Code, NRC requirements, and internal procedures.
Maintain program governance, prepare reports, and represent the program in inspections and audits.
Develop and coordinate execution of snubber work scope, including outage support, reviewing test results, identifying issues, and recommending solutions.
Participate in industry groups and forums (e.g., ASME, SNUG) and incorporate lessons learned into program improvements.
