About The Position

This is an analyst position responsible for managing movement and coordination among products and departments to meet customer demand and product specifications. The role works with laboratory, operations, shipping, corporate planning, and logistics teams on product clearances, transfers, shipments, and equipment outages. It also supports production planning, inventory management, customer complaint resolution, ISO coordination, and production reporting.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage complexity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Successful completion of background screening, including motor vehicle record screening, drug testing, and pre-employment physical requirements.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of operations, logistics, or quality control experience in various Derivatives and Chlor-Alkali operating units.
• Technical degree.
• SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with laboratory, operations, shipping, corporate planners, and logistics regarding product clearances, transfers, shipments, and equipment outages.
• Coordinate operator activities related to operating mode, product grades, and production quantities needed to meet customer requirements.
• Review final product tank clearances to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Review scheduled orders, maintain production rollouts and plans, and manage product inventories to meet shipment demands.
• Prepare product inventory for end-of-month reconciliation and closing, and participate in the closing process.
• Monitor product transfers for billing purposes and coordinate with the Records Department on operations reporting when required.
• Perform quarterly and annual SQC reports.
• Perform and monitor production postings and product movements in SAP.
• Participate in planning major maintenance activities to coordinate production downtime.
• Facilitate resolution of customer complaints.
• Serve as ISO Coordinator.
• Serve as back-up to the Superintendent-Production, Planning.
