About The Position

Review, understand, and communicate customer requirements and changes, and TPI manufacturing and quality processes. Manage exceptions and differences between TPI sites; drive global standardization efforts. Work with various teams during new program launches, support product transfer to different TPI sites; support continuous improvement and material cost-out programs.

Requirements

BS/BA engineering with a minimum of three to five years’ experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experiences.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems; Oracle experience preferred.
Excellent communications skills with business partners in all levels of the organization in a global, multi-cultural environment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Lean experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the expert on customer’s technical requirements by reviewing and understanding all related drawings, specifications, and other files.
Drive TPI’s global standardization efforts at the site by working with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and other teams.
Prepare and maintain supplier questions and exceptions lists for a new design or requirement change from the customer by working with related departments.
Own and maintain Bill of Materials.
Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products or requirements.
Coordinate continuous improvement changes both internally and externally, including process, material, equipment, and documentation related changes.
Confer with Management, Engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate customer requests.
Confer with related departments concerning product design and tooling to ensure customer requirements are met.
Support other TPI sites during product transfers.
Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
