About The Position

As a Product Safety & Environmental Engineer (WOME) you will join our River Class Destroyer Product Safety & Environmental Team. Reporting to the Engineering Lead – Product Safety, this role is integral to ensuring the safety, compliance, and certification of complex naval systems. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of warship design - gaining exposure to advanced systems including weapons, sensors, and propulsion, while contributing to critical systems engineering disciplines such as Verification & Validation, Human Systems Integration, Supportability, and Survivability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in product safety and environmental engineering.
- Familiarity with naval systems and defense procurement projects.
- Knowledge of systems engineering disciplines such as Verification & Validation, Human Systems Integration, Supportability, and Survivability.
