This onsite position can be performed at Tinker AFB, OK, Rancho Bernardo, CA, Palmdale, CA or Melbourne, FL.

Requirements

Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and at least 2 years of experience, a Master's Degree in STEM with no experience (for Engineer level)
Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and at least 5 years of experience, a Master's Degree in STEM with 3 years of experience, or a PhD Degree with no experience (for Principal Engineer level)
Experience designing, configuring, and installing avionics subsystems
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP). This SAP must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Responsibilities

Performing and executing Statement of Work (SOW) as a Supplier/Subcontract Manger (SMT) Communications (COMMs) Avionics Subsystem(s)
Manage the program requirements to ensure supplier compliance with program and AV design, test, document and Avionics COMMs subsystems hardware requirements
Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications
Collaborate with Subcontract engineers and stakeholders to implement subsystem performance and environmental requirements.
Work to develop design solutions for obsolete hardware.
Travel up to 25%
