About The Position

Williams International is seeking an Engineer to join its Casting engineering team. The role is primarily responsible for working in a lean manufacturing cell to implement new gas turbine engine component part designs and develop process improvements for existing designs.

The position also involves creating estimated process plans and part detail designs (blueprints), developing manufacturing process plans, performing process development, NC programming, tool design, and working with layout specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in gas turbine engines.
• Zero to five years of experience.
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings.
• Strong CAD skills.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed; selected candidates may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of summer intern or co-op experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Manufacturing, CNC programming, or tool design experience is a plus.
• Experience with PTC Creo or UG NX is a plus.
