About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining the hotel's operational systems, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for guests and associates. The Engineer/Maintenance position involves routine preventive maintenance, responding to work orders, and performing repairs on various hotel systems and equipment. Requirements
- 3+ years of HVAC or boiler experience.
- First Class Engineer’s License (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs, squat, bend, and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining boilers and HVAC systems.
- Performing routine preventive maintenance on the building.
- Tackling work orders from guests and associates.
- Repairing and maintaining pool filters, furniture, and other hotel equipment.
- Supporting landscaping and groundskeeping efforts, including snow shoveling and leaf-blowing.
