Purpose Senior leadership position, responsible for providing strategic direction, technical oversight, and mentorship to the civil engineering discipline. You will play a critical role in shaping the organization's engineering strategies, driving innovation, and ensuring excellence in project execution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering, civil engineering, or related field.
Eight or more (8+) years of experience required.
Extensive knowledge and experience in civil engineering principles and practices, particularly in the energy sector.
Advanced proficiency in emerging civil engineering software and tools.
Strong understanding of environmental and sustainability considerations.
Advanced proficiency in geotechnical and structural engineering principles.
In-depth knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills – written and verbal.
High level of personal integrity.
Strong relationship capabilities.
Proficient in both written and spoken English.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and external partners.

Professional Engineer licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform building sizing and selection, alternative analyses, and other deliverables.
Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities.
Present engineering and design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project progress reporting and schedule requirements.
Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule.
Supports proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope, identifying list of deliverables, and estimating effort required
Work is highly independent.
Prepares, reviews, and approves foundation, structural steel, building, and earthwork calculations, requisitions, studies, reports, BOMs, and designs.
