About The Position

dbHMS is seeking an Engineer Intern for their Design Studio team in the Chicago office. This role will support the engineering of systems for a variety of projects, working closely with clients, client representatives, architects, and MEP engineers in creating designs for various spaces. Most duties will be performed in an office environment, with some duties in a construction/field environment involving trips to project sites. Requirements

• Enrolled in a 4-year Engineering program or a graduate from a 4-Year Engineering Program with less than one year of experience (Mechanical, Electrical, and Architectural Engineering preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Engineers with drafting, basic calculations, or other engineering tasks.
• Collaborate with other engineers on assigned engineering tasks.
• Model MEPFP systems and create construction documents in Revit.
• Write engineering reports as directed by Senior Engineers.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
