About The Position

This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners. HII Mission Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Engineer Information Assurance SME to help support our mission. This role will support DoD/IC communities and help support high level leadership in all matters of cybersecurity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Acquisition, Engineering, Computer Science, or other related scientific or technical discipline is desired.
  • Level III DAWIA Certification in Acquisition, Program Management and/or Systems Engineering is desired.
  • At least 15 - 20 years of IdAM or relevant NGA experience is required.
  • At least 15 - 20 years of Systems Engineering experience within the IC is required.
  • At least 30 years of Acquisition experience with IC and DoD missions is desired.
  • TS/SCI w/Poly required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide NGA portfolio/program technical expertise and execution advice, as well as assistance for all matters related to IC/DoD Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) policies and directives.
  • Provide insight to senior-level decision-makers on NGA’s ICAM capabilities and those of other IC and DoD partners.
  • Assist and advise NGA senior leadership with options for IC Information Technology Enterprise (ITE) Identification Authentication Authorization (IAA) adoption and transition of services when applicable.
  • Collaborate across agencies (inter-agency) and across NGA (intra-agency) to advise senior leadership on matters of ICAM/cybersecurity inter-dependencies, requirements, risks and recommendations.
  • Bring program management experience, preferably within an IdAM program office, and must be able to provide expert level cost, schedule, and technical analyses and recommendations.
  • Bring a demonstrated understanding of the IC mission and mission systems and a demonstrated understanding of IC and DoD ICAM systems including current and future IAA services.
  • Has familiarity with identity federation and commercial vendor offerings in the ICAM and Identity and Access Management (IdAM) market space.
  • Has familiarity with DoW, IC, and US Government standards bodies for ICAM, IdAM and IAA related technical specifications.
  • Must have excellent oral presentation and writing skills, with a proven capability to communicate complex technical issues to senior IC/DoD leaders, systems engineering professionals, and lay audiences.
