About The Position

Martin/Martin is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our structural engineering group in support of projects in our Denver office. This engineer will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of project types with a variety of structural materials. This position will provide opportunities to gain experience in both new building structural design and existing building investigations and retrofits. A typical work week can include drawing development, project coordination, engineering calculations, Construction Administration tasks, and site visits. This position allows for interactions with owners, architects, and contractors as you build relationships throughout the project life cycle. While many of our projects are located in the Rocky Mountain region, Martin/Martin’s national footprint provides opportunities to work on projects around the country. Our office is located on the west side of Denver, allowing for quick access to both the city and the mountains. Our staff typically spends less time in traffic and more time with family and friends. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum in Architectural, Civil, Environmental, Construction, Structural, or related engineering field
Has passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination
2-4 years' experience (MSCE/MSAE counts as one year)
Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Ability to work in the Denver area.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum in Architectural, Civil, Structural, or related engineering field.
GPA of 3.5 or higher
Working knowledge of building and material design codes
Experience using computer design and graphics software for building structural design and documentation (AutoDesk REVIT, RAM, SAP, ETABS, RISA, etc.)
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills with a commitment to client service and a team-based approach
Construction field experience
Experience programming in Grasshopper, Python, Dynamo, SQL, C#, C++, VBA
