About The Position

Stanley Consultants is currently looking for a Substation Engineer-in-Training to work in our Austin, TX office. This position will work on the design of substation physical layouts, lightning protection, conduit and cable plans, grounding analysis and design, generating single and three-line schematic diagrams, panel wiring, DC schematics, control building and relay panel layouts, lighting design, and coordination with structural, civil, transmission line, and graphics disciplines. Will work as part of a design team; could be assigned to more than one project.

Requirements

Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited University
Up to 2 years of experience
Must have passed FE Exam or will be taking the FE Exam within the next 6 months of being hired
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have Microsoft Office Suite experience
Must be able to work legally in the United States for any length of time
