The EIC must be familiar with the operation of all necessary tools and the various components required to assemble and rig the system. They work under the direction of the CTO regarding system deployment and maintenance/repair, and interface with the CTO on engineering and shop operations as they pertain to field operations and safety. While on client job sites, responsibilities include equipment setup and operation, crew interfacing with client and venue personnel, equipment field repairs, safe operation of equipment, completing tech reports for each job, and reporting equipment issues and recommendations to the CTO. Updates to site surveys are also provided as needed. When not in the field, the EIC supports shop operations, performing general maintenance, testing, and system prep, and may also be involved in R&D and design as assigned.
