Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
Four years of work experience in a natural gas engineering position preferred (for Engineer III).
Five years of work experience in a natural gas engineering position preferred (for Sr Engineer).
Advanced use of Synergi application to analyze impacts of changes to hydraulic distribution system and advanced understanding of gas pipeline flow.
Project leadership skills.
Training and mentorship skills.
Long-term planning skills including scoping, organization of phasing, prioritization, and portfolio management.
Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Technical writing skills.

EIT / PE preferred

Responsibilities

Complete system analysis related to significant additions or modifications to the gas distribution system and guide scoping and development of improvement projects.
Develop long term capacity and reliability improvement plans for areas of the distribution system. Coordinate with Area Engineering Design, M&R Engineering Design, and Gas Supply teams to manage distribution system improvement Master Plans.
Develop and maintain winter customer support / interruption plans to maintain system reliability during cold weather periods.
